About us
What We Do:
Social Ch@nge helps non-profit staff understand and use the internet. We discuss new online developments and give you practical advice. How will new technologies impact your organization? Where can you find online tools?
New articles are posted weekly (usually Tuesdays and Thursdays). Email us at editor@netfornonprofits.org with comments, story ideas or questions!
Why We Do It:
We want to see a world where people are truly engaged citizens, not consumers. Where society and politics are built so that it is possible for anyone with a day job to still be educated about the issues and have an effective mechanism for changing the game. Where the global and local are connected on a fundamental level - we can share the experiences from our home town in Ontario with someone in the Ukraine, and work together on common problems.
For the first time in history, we’re at a point where our tools just might allow us to achieve this - if we can change our society to reach this potential.
About the Authors:
Social Ch@nge is co-authored by siblings Channing and Sean Rodman. Between them, they have twenty years of non-profit funding development and communications experience.
