Such a way of presenting the &quot;power of social media&quot; is what makes people say &quot;But that&#039;s so easy, it doesn&#039;t mean anything.&quot; Well, it does mean something: 200,000 people actually were interested and could potentially do more (now that they heard of it!)

But surely not all of them are enough interested to really do more than clicking a button. Maybe someone could establish an equation:
&quot;power of facebook&quot; = (fans - potential offline activists) x (follow-up by page administors).
