Examples of ways your non-profit visualises big ideas?
This week on Social Ch@nge we’re looking at getting visual and we need your input. How do you get the big picture across to your coworkers? Ever used mind maps, charts, brainstorming webs or stick figures to get across your strategy? When, exactly, do you need to get visual at your organization?
There are – literally – hundreds of ways to visualize your ideas, and if you’re skeptical, check out the Periodic Table of Visualisation. See any you use as part of your work process? (Are there any useless ones in there?) Got any how-to links to chase like this one from Beth Kanter? And where do you go online for useful tools for drawing up your brilliant scheme? Comments, emails and drawings welcome:)

Hi Vichetr – It depends on the country that you want to register your non-profit in. If your organization is based in the United States, you’ll want to register with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for a 501(c)(3) status – here’s the link where they explain how to do that. If you’re in Canada, you need to apply Revenue Canada for charitable status and you can read about how to do that here, on advice site Charity Village. But it looks to me like your foundation is already registered in Cambodia and doing an amazing job helping impoverished children. Where were you hoping to register?
