Thanks for pointing me in the direction of Cory Doctorow’s article. I like his notion of “interruption technologies” – so true, so pervasive, and I hadn’t thought through the ways in which we can fight back. Doctorow’s article has some good ideas concerning how we can simplify our writing lives.
